South Toms River Volunteer First Aid and Rescue Squad Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer organization that depends largely on fundraising and voluntary contributions from the citizens of our service area.

The Office of Emergency Management (OEM), is responsible for an emergency management plan that prepares for, responds to and recovers from any natural or manmade event that may occur in South Toms River.

Our primary response area is Manitou Park, Holiday City, Holiday Heights, Silver Ridge sections of Berkeley Township, Robert J. Miller Airpark (Ocean County Airport) and the Boro of South Toms River.

A Special Council Meeting of the Mayor & Council of the Borough of South Toms River will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held at Borough Hall, 19 Double Trouble Rd, South Toms River, NJ 08757. This will be an Open House for Borough Officials to meet potential cannabis license applicants. Official action will not be taken at this meeting.
